Job Description

Our Bay of Plenty region is looking for an experienced Psychologist who wants to grow their skills in rehabilitation. This is an excellent opportunity to assist in patient care and well-being whilst being provided with the resources to succeed.

Great flexibility with role location - Tauranga, Rotorua or Taupo - you choose your preferred Bay of Plenty location and we will work with you.

We are flexible with hours too - full-time 40hrs/week or part-time (minimum 24hrs/week) - we let you choose!

Main responsibilities:  

  • Deliver assessments and recommendations backed by clinical reasoning
  • Complete written and verbal summaries of assessments
  • Be part of the development of training and resources for services delivered
  • Collaborate and grow with a multidisciplinary team (MDT)

The ideal candidate:

  • MA/PG Dip/DClin or similar qualification
  • Registration as a Clinical Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists’ Board / current APC
  • Membership of a Professional Body such as New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists or New Zealand Psychological Society
  • Approachability and people-centered disposition
