Job Description

Our team at Habit Health's East Tamaki branch in Auckland is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary clinic to support people the way they deserve to be taken care of – the Habit Health way. Join our dedicated and experienced Voc team , where we are committed to ensuring safe and sustainable return to work pathways for every individual. We are currently seeking a passionate professional for a fixed-term role to cover maternity leave.

Main responsibilities:  

  • Meeting with clients and employers at their workplace
  • Making ergonomic adjustments/recommendations and supporting them in their return to work journey following injury
  • Liaise with allied health team members in a supportive MDT
  • Create patient reports on client abilities, goals and best practice intervention
  • Utilise diary management software

The ideal candidate:

  • Must have NZ OT registration and current APC
  • Minimum 5 years of experience including provision of vocational services would be beneficial 
  • Ability to effectively manage your time and caseload
  • Full NZ Driver’s license for community rehabilitation
  • Excellent communication skills – you will be meeting new and varied people every day!
