Job Description

Habit Health is a nationwide healthcare provider, specialising in the rehabilitation and corporate health space. We enable people to live their best lives and empower our teams to realise their full potential.

If you're a go-getter in the corporate health space and have made your mark as a clinician and are ready for a new challenge, we have just the opportunity for you! An exciting new role has just come up at Habit Health in Nelson for a Performance Manager who can easily engage with a region-wide MDT of occupational health nursing and EAP counselling professionals to ensure best practice business performance and excellent clinical outcomes. Your background as a clinician will enable you to speak the same language as your teams so that successful service delivery comes naturally and easily. The ideal candidate must demonstrate people management and engagement skills.

The Performance Manager will work with clinical teams across Nelson so must be willing to travel. You will work with a talented team of Occupational Health Nurses and EAP Professionals

Whilst a clinical candidate who has leadership experience is preferred, we are open to reviewing non-clinical candidates who have worked in the corporate health space and understand the needs of our private clients.

Main responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Regional Manager to ensure the team meets / exceeds operational targets
  • Keep a keen eye on resourcing needs to meet customer and operational targets
  • Monitor and deliver on KPIs for the team
  • Promote Habit Health as the 'go-to' corporate health provider
  • Identify opportunities for Clinical and Service Leads to provide education and support to the teams / staff in Auckland
  • Assist with quality, accuracy, audits and timelines of service

The benefits of working with us:

  • Market competitive salary to ensure that our teams feel valued
  • Annual budget set aside for professional development / study
  • Use of company car for business needs
  • Opportunities to further develop your leadership skills
  • Permanent full-time role with clear career progression
  • Great team culture with regular social events, weekly treats, award schemes
  • Well-being initiatives: annual eye exam, flu vaccination, access to EAP services

Provision of enhanced AI tools aimed at boosting your performance:

Habit is proud to have introduced Heidi notes for all its clinicians to ensure they have access to the best possible tools to help them excel. Heidi is an AI medical scribe that automates clinical documentation and decreases administrative work.

The ideal candidate:

  • A clinical background with at least 3 years' experience in the leadership space is preferred - we will accept applications from non-clinical candidates if they have a good understanding of corporate health
  • Excellent knowledge of the New Zealand market in corporate health provision – EAP and/or occupational health
  • Understanding of PMS, databases and CRM
  • A people person, easily approachable and a keen communicator
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
