Job Description

About the role...

We are seeking two experienced people leaders to step into our newly created Performance Managers positions in Wellington to lead our MSK service and Corporate Services (Occupational Health and EAP) business units. This is a clinically informed leadership role, and proven clinical experience is essential.

A day in the life...

  • Drive your team to meet or exceed operational targets, including billed hours and productivity
  • Make informed resourcing decisions based on demand
  • Champion agility within the region by supporting resource sharing across teams
  • Build and deliver against team KPIs while contributing to the regional strategic roadmap
  • Monitor service outcomes, feedback, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Work closely with Clinical & Service Leads to ensure effective allocation, audit quality, and service compliance
  • Build trusted relationships with ACC, insurers, private companies, case managers, and community partners
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, coaching, performance, and professional development

 

The ideal candidate will bring...

  • Clinical experience within a healthcare setting - essential
  • Strong knowledge of NZ health services
  • Experience in the successful management of multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong business acumen and a data-informed approach to decision-making
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to build rapport and credibility with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • For the MSK Performance Manager role, demonstrated experience in physiotherapy is essential
