Why join Pacific Health Group? We’re a purpose-led organisation making a genuine difference in communities across New Zealand, delivering integrated healthcare services that truly impact people’s lives. You’ll gain exposure to a complex, multi-entity healthcare environment and have the opportunity to shape financial discipline and strengthen commercial capability as we continue to grow. Our culture is supportive and values-driven, and this Auckland-based role offers strong visibility across the Group. If you’re looking to combine commercial rigour with meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders across the Group. This is not a back-office reporting role – it’s a true partnering position where you’ll:
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes with operational teams
- Deliver clear, insightful monthly performance reporting and variance analysis
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations
- Support scenario modelling and commercial decision-making
- Improve financial literacy and performance accountability across the business
- Contribute to system and reporting improvements (including dashboards and KPIs)
You’ll translate complex financial information into clear, practical insights that drive better decisions and stronger performance.
About You
We’re looking for someone based in Auckland with:
- Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner (3–5+ years post qualification)

- Exposure to a complex, multi-entity environment
- Confidence in presenting financial insights to non-finance audiences
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems (e.g. Sage Intacct, Adaptive or similar)
- Experience building or working with Power BI reports
- Healthcare experience highly desirable
Most importantly, you’re a confident communicator. You know how to ask the right questions, influence respectfully, and build trusted relationships across a complex organisation. You’re commercially astute, naturally curious, and comfortable challenging constructively to drive better outcomes.
What's in it for you?
- Professional development support, including an annual professional development budget and paid study days
- Volunteer leave to support a charity or cause that matters to you
- Wellbeing initiatives, including annual eye exams, discounts on glasses, annual flu vaccination, and access to EAP services
- Corporate discounts across a wide range of services and products
