We’re seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to provide clinical leadership across our Auckland Concussion Service. This role is ideal for a senior clinician who is passionate about evidence-informed concussion care, service quality, supporting clinicians to deliver consistently excellent outcomes and support strategic growth initiatives in the region.As Clinical Lead, you’ll play a key role in shaping how concussion care is delivered across the region. You’ll provide expert clinical guidance, support complex keyworker management, and work closely with clinicians, operational leaders, and external stakeholders to ensure care is safe, equitable, and aligned with best practice and ACC expectations.

This is an opportunity to step into a role where you can influence practice, develop others, and help shape the future of concussion services in Auckland, while remaining grounded in meaningful clinical work.

Main responsibilities:   

  • Liaise with the Service Lead to review complex client cases.
  • Manage client risk register and review complex clinical reports.
  • Build positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Supporting the regional multi-disciplinary team to achieve positive client outcomes.

The ideal candidate: 

  • Tertiary qualification in your chosen clinical area - either Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
  • Annual practicing certification as a registered health professional 
  • Fluent communication skills – you will be collaborating with a whole team! 
  • Five plus years’ experience in a clinical role – leadership skills is advantageous 
  • ACC operational, medical and policy knowledge
