We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Acupuncturist subcontractor to join our healthcare team at Habit Health, delivering personalized acupuncture treatments to support pain management, rehabilitation, and overall wellbeing.

This subcontracting opportunity allows you to be based at one of our clinic locations, including Albany, East Tamaki, Fred Thomas, Silverdale, Waiata Shores, or Waitakere, where you will assess patients, develop tailored treatment plans, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment to help clients achieve their health and recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient consultations and health assessments
• Develop and implement individualised acupuncture treatment plans
• Perform safe and effective acupuncture treatments
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Educate patients on treatment plans, lifestyle adjustments, and preventative care
• Adhere to professional standards, health regulations, and clinic policies

Must have:

• NZ Recognised qualification in Acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine
• Registration with Chinese Medicine Council of New Zealand (CMCNZ) and valid APC
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centred care and professional ethics

Nice to have:

• Previous clinical experience in acupuncture or integrative healthcare
• Knowledge of complementary therapies and holistic health practices
