Habit Health is looking for a Team Manager to lead our Musculoskeletal (MSK) services across the Wellington region, supporting a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists and rehabilitation professionals delivering high-quality injury rehabilitation within the ACC environment. This is an opportunity to move beyond a clinical caseload and into a strategic leadership role, where you will mentor clinicians, drive service performance, and help shape the delivery of MSK rehabilitation across the region.

Based in Wellington – New Zealand’s vibrant capital city, you’ll be surrounded by a region known for its coastal lifestyle, world-class coffee, and easy access to beaches, trails, and outdoor adventure. This is a regional role, so occasional travel across Wellington will be required to support clinicians and maintain strong team connections.

The role

As the Team Manager, you will lead clinicians delivering musculoskeletal rehabilitation services across Wellington. Working closely with the Regional Manager, you will ensure the service runs smoothly, clinicians feel supported, and clients receive excellent outcomes. You will focus on people leadership, service delivery, and operational performance, helping your team succeed while ensuring the MSK service continues to grow and evolve.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting MSK clinicians across the Wellington region
• Driving service performance and delivery within ACC contracts
• Supporting workforce planning and ensuring the team is well resourced
• Mentoring clinicians and supporting professional development
• Monitoring operational performance
• Promoting best-practice MSK rehabilitation
• Ensuring high standards of clinical quality, documentation, and service delivery

About you

This role will suit an experienced clinician who understands MSK rehabilitation and is passionate about supporting other clinicians to succeed. You may currently be a Senior Physiotherapist, Clinical Lead, or Practice Lead looking for the next step in your leadership career.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A background in Physiotherapy
• Strong experience in musculoskeletal rehabilitation
• Previous leadership, mentoring, or team management experience
• Knowledge of the ACC rehabilitation environment
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A relevant tertiary qualification
