Habit Health, including Psychological and Sensitive Claims Services (PSCS) are a nationwide Supplier of ACC Sensitive Claims services, for kiritaki who have experienced sexual trauma and assault.
We are seeking talented, skilled, and enthusiastic Professionals to join our team. We are interested in hearing from clinicians wishing to join our network of Counsellors, Registered Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Psychotherapists and Social Work Counsellors who have experience in working with survivors of sexual harm. We are open to applicants interested in both employment and contracting within the wider Wellington region, as well as Auckland and Canterbury.
Interested applicants should have a qualification that meets level 6 of an NZQA recognised course of study; with a focus on abnormal psychology, skills in two or more therapy models of therapeutic intervention, human development, basic assessment skills, therapeutic intervention skills, and family dynamics. Evidence of 2 years post graduate experience working in mental health (not including clinical placements and internships) and experience in working with survivors of sexual abuse and assault, with this experience having been obtained or maintained in the last five years.
Applicants should be confident with report writing and communicating and co-ordinating a multi-disciplinary team for the best kiritaki outcomes.
All Sensitive Claims Service providers must be registered with ACC as a Named Service provider. We are happy to support you with the application and approval process.
