We’re looking for a proactive and relationship-driven Procurement & Sustainability Advisor to join our team in Wellington. This is a unique opportunity for someone to grow their skills in the Procurement and Sustainability space.
The role is a fantastic opportunity to combine procurement, sustainability, fleet coordination, and operational support in a role where no two days are the same.
About the Role
You’ll play a key role in ensuring our clinics and teams across the country are supported with the right suppliers, systems, and sustainability initiatives to help Habit Health operate efficiently and responsibly.
You’ll oversee and assist with procurement contracts, supplier relationships, stock processes, fleet coordination, and support sustainability projects that help reduce our environmental impact. You’ll also contribute to property and maintenance coordination across the Wellington and Lower North Island region.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys balancing strategy with day-to-day operational delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
Procurement & Supplier Management:
- Support supplier relationships and procurement contracts across clinic consumables, office supplies, waste management, cleaning, couriers, laundry, and more
- Help with pricing negotiations and monitor supplier performance and compliance
- Support RFP and tender processes
- Ensure procurement practices align with Habit Health policies and sustainability goals
Sustainability:
- Help deliver and continuously improve Habit Health’s sustainability strategy
- Support emissions reduction initiatives and carbon reporting programmes
- Work closely with internal stakeholders on sustainability targets and reporting
- Drive practical initiatives across the business including recycling and waste reduction programmes
Fleet & Operational Support:
- Assist with fleet management tasks and help coordinate supplier relationships
- Support vehicle changes, repairs, maintenance approvals, and compliance reporting
- Help coordinate property maintenance and support regional facilities projects
Stock & Systems:
- Oversee stock ordering and stocktake processes nationally
- Support supplier promotions and webstore operations
- Ensure operational systems and records remain accurate and up to date
