Job Description

 About Wellnz

Wellnz is a trusted provider of workplace injury management and rehabilitation services across New Zealand. We work in partnership with employers, insurers and Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) to deliver high-quality, client-focused claims and injury management solutions.

Our purpose is simple: to help people recover well and return to work safely, while supporting organisations to create healthier, safer workplaces. We are committed to service excellence, strong client relationships, and continuous improvement through internationally recognised quality standards. At Wellnz, our people are at the heart of what we do. We foster a culture built on integrity, teamwork, accountability and professional growth — creating an environment where leaders can truly make an impact.

About the Role

As a Claims Administrator, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to the claims team, helping ensure work-related injury claims are lodged accurately and managed efficiently. You’ll assist Case Coordinators and Case Managers with key administrative tasks, maintain accurate information in our case management system, and provide friendly, professional customer service to clients, claimants and stakeholders. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who is organised, eager to learn, and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.

About You

You’re organised, motivated and keen to build your career in claims administration. You enjoy working as part of a supportive team, communicating with clients and stakeholders, and helping ensure information is accurate and up to date. You’re proactive, willing to learn, and comfortable managing a range of administrative tasks in a busy environment.

You will bring:

  • A strong customer-focused mindset, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and building positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally, confidently, and effectively across a range of audiences.
  • Previous administration experience with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring work is completed to a consistently high standard.
  • A collaborative team-player attitude, with a willingness to support others, contribute to team success, and foster positive working relationships.

Why Join Us?

Join a team where your work genuinely changes lives. You'll enjoy a supportive and collaborative environment, ongoing professional development opportunities, and exposure to a diverse range of clients and injury management scenarios. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your career within a growing and respected organisation while making a meaningful impact on the recovery journeys of injured people. We value our staff, and to show our appreciation, we offer a generous benefit package including:

  • Life insurance, income protection and medical insurance
  • Professional development, including study funding, paid study days and in-service training
  • Fully funded annual flu shots, eye check-ups, and access to confidential counselling services
  • Volunteer release time to support your choice of charity
  • Corporate discounts on goods and services
